Op GRAVEPOINT
TIMELINE
Wakhan Corridor, Afghanistan
Five years ago, a classified coalition task force operating under the name Task Force Sentinel vanished from the map.
Hidden deep within the Wakhan Corridor, Forward Operating Base Viper served as an off-books Tier-One staging hub for covert operations involving Delta, 22 SAS, and CIA Ground Branch assets. The base was never meant to exist — and what happened there was never meant to be known.
That changed the night FOB Viper fell.
The FOB was overrun in a coordinated siege, isolated from reinforcement, stripped of its defenses, and systematically looted. Survivors were executed. Sensitive Predator-class drone control modules, encrypted ISR data cores, and communications drives disappeared into the black market.
The ruins of FOB Viper are now known by a single name by locals :
The GRAVEPOINT
CURRENT THREAT ENVIRONMENT
Intelligence confirms that Sentinel-era technology has resurfaced and been reactivated.
Regional warlords, foreign mercenaries, and radicalised insurgent elements have weaponised the stolen systems — restoring real-time ISR coverage across the Wakhan Corridor.
At the centre of this network is Dmitri “The Wolf” Khasanov, a Chechen warlord and former Spetsnaz commander. Khasanov leads a hybrid militant force known as The Pack, are operating in conjunction with Sons of Sand elements and black-market brokers tied to now-defunct criminal networks.
Khasanov’s faction has fortified the Gravepoint and are using the terrain and recovered technology to dominate movement through the region.
FRIENDLY FORCES
In response to the escalating threat, HAVOC Ltd (Hostile Action & Variable Operations Command) has been mobilised by NATO command.
Operating off-books under a joint UK–US directive, HAVOC is a deniable private military contractor composed of former Tier-One operators, intelligence specialists, and covert action assets.
There will be:
- No NATO presence
- No conventional military support
- No extraction guarantees
This is a full-spectrum interdiction and recovery operation conducted under extreme threat conditions.
