CURRENT STORYLINE
Location: Bolívar Verde Province, Venezuela
Six months after the events of OP GREEN SERPENT, Bolívar Verde Province has descended deeper into violence, corruption, and political collapse.
Former Minister of Energy and Mines Alejandro Rivas now sits as President of the Verde Republic of Venezuela following a controversial emergency election backed by corrupt officials, military loyalists, and foreign private military interests.
The corruption was never stopped. It took control.
Under the banner of restoring “national stability,” President Rivas has transformed the province into a militarised state focused entirely on consolidating power, generating wealth through foreign oil contracts, and crushing all resistance within Bolívar Verde.
At the centre of this regime stands VOLK Security Group (VSG).
Originally deployed as a Russian Wagner-aligned private military contractor tasked with protecting infrastructure, VSG has now evolved into the President’s personal security and enforcement force.
Their influence stretches across the entire province.
Roadblocks control civilian movement.
Villages suspected of supporting resistance activity are raided without warning.
Supply routes are heavily armed and constantly patrolled.
Pipeline stations have become fortified military compounds.
Intelligence reports confirm that large-scale shipments of foreign weapons, explosives, drones, ammunition, and military equipment are being moved into the region under the cover of “security stabilisation operations.”
The oil pipeline remains officially offline.
In reality, Bolívar Verde is being systematically seized from within.
Intercepted communications and recovered documents suggest Rivas and senior officials are facilitating secret resource agreements granting foreign entities long-term access to Venezuelan oil assets in exchange for money, protection, and political support.
Entire communities have disappeared in the process.
Public executions, disappearances, interrogations, and violent security sweeps have become common throughout the jungle corridor as VSG attempts to eliminate all opposition to the regime.
But the resistance is growing.
The Río Verde Resistance (RVR) has evolved from scattered local fighters into a hardened insurgency force made up of former soldiers, police officers, oil workers, villagers, defectors, and displaced civilians.
Identifiable by their red bandanas worn as a symbol of unity and defiance, RVR cells are conducting coordinated ambushes, sabotage operations, hit-and-run attacks, and raids against VSG positions across the province.
The jungle now belongs to the insurgency.
Western intelligence agencies have also confirmed the continued presence of Task Force ATLAS, a covert Western SOF element operating under strict diplomatic deniability alongside resistance forces.
Officially, they do not exist.
Unofficially, they are tasked with dismantling the corruption network protecting the Rivas regime, disrupting incoming weapons shipments, gathering evidence of war crimes, and targeting the key individuals responsible for foreign control over Venezuelan resources.
The conflict has evolved far beyond infrastructure security.
This is now a proxy war fought deep inside the jungle.
Foreign contractors control the roads.
The resistance controls the shadows.
And Bolívar Verde stands on the brink of full civil war.
UNIFORM & FACTION GUIDELINES
Proper uniform adherence is mandatory for team distinction, realism, and safe gameplay. Players not meeting faction requirements may be required to adjust kit before entering the field.
TASK FORCE ATLAS
Western SOF ( TF )
Task Force ATLAS represents a covert Western special operations element operating under diplomatic deniability. Appearance should reflect a professional, modern SOF force deployed in a hostile jungle environment.
Approved Appearance:
- Multicam uniforms / NATO camouflage patterns (MTP, AOR, MARPAT etc)
- Plate carriers, chest rigs, or belts in Multicam, coyote, ranger green, or similar
- Helmets, bump helmets, or ball caps permitted
- Modern SOF-style equipment encouraged
Task Force ATLAS should be visibly distinct from all other factions.
RÍO VERDE RESISTANCE (RVR)
Local Resistance Militia ( TF )
fighters represent local resistance elements opposing foreign occupation and government corruption. They are irregular, lightly equipped, and locally sourced fighters hardened by the conflict.
Mandatory Identifier:
- Red bandana or clearly visible red cloth worn at all times
Recommended Attire:
- Civilian or outdoor clothing in earth tones or dark colours
- Tiger stripe / Ranger green camouflage permitted
- Mismatched and improvised appearance encouraged
- Chest rigs, belts, or light carriers permitted
- No clean NATO or professional military appearance
RVR fighters must look like local militia, not professional soldiers. The red identifier is essential for faction recognition.
VOLK SECURITY GROUP (VSG)
Russian-Aligned Private Military Company ( OPFOR )
VOLK Security Group represents a disciplined, heavily armed occupying force operating under the authority of President Rivas.
VSG now serves as both the regime’s military arm and personal presidential security force throughout Bolívar Verde Province.
Approved Appearance:
- Military or paramilitary clothing in ranger green, olive, EMR, or Russian camouflage patterns
- Plate carriers or chest rigs in green, black, or mixed patterns
- AK-platform weapons preferred but any platform allowed
- Helmets, caps, or boonie hats permitted
- Organised and uniformed appearance encouraged
VSG should present as a professional occupying force clearly distinct from resistance fighters and Western SOF.
IMPORTANT NOTE
This event relies heavily on visual identification, role immersion, and narrative clarity.
Uniform compliance is not optional.
Players are expected to commit to their faction’s identity to ensure a safe, immersive, and high-quality milsim experience for all participants.
